The Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) is the youngest regional cooperation spanning across South and Southeast Asia/ This book deals with possibilities of expanding and deepening Bangladesh-Japan cooperation in trade and investment, transport connectivity, energy, technology, fisheries and tourism within the framework of BIMSTEC. In the process, the issue of multilateral cooperation amongst the BIMSTEC countries has been deliberated. As the BIMSTEC member countries themselves as well as Japan are varied in size of population, economy and stages of development, dynamic complementarities to fore win-win cooperation stands a fair chance.
